Ben, I could well be interested in buying your engine, but there are logistic problems to consider, as I live in Slovenia. At present I am restoring the Sheane that was sold on eBay some months back by Mr Harding. [Dark blue, rusty, needed a complete rebuild. There’s some light at the end of the tunnel, however – my son, Ian White, lives in Tring and given good fortune could either collect or take delivery. Where are you located? Will you accept ‘an offer?’ Let me know, please. David

Hi David, sorry I sold this engine last week unfortunately. I’ll try to find out if any other engines are available.

        Best regards,

        Ben

HI Ben, I appreciate your reply and interest in my rebuild. Yes, please, if you have the opportunity, ask around for a really worthwhile engine, as my present engine, described as running well by the eBay vendor, is at the moment on the bench and sadly in need of major surgery. A salutary lesson in NOT to buy such mechanical devices without some positive assurances and, dare one suggest it, some proof. Best regards – David
