Welcome to the Vee Centre, a social club for drivers, mechanics and families for the benefit of competitors in the UK Formula Vee Championship.
The winners of the 2010 Vee Centre awards were Pete Andrews for the Centre Challenge, Tim Probert for the Masters Trophy & Steve Ough for Overall Highest Grid Mover. Glen Twaite won the Mechanics Cup award. Congratulations go to all and good luck for retaining those titles in 2011!
The Vee Centre Committee are working and listening hard to put your ideas into action so please keep them coming :-)
At the season start we would like to thank everyone for the effort they put in to make Formula Vee such a great formula that has one of the friendliest paddocks in the UK club motor racing scene. Please remember to get your memberships in so that we can continue to make the Vee Centre a great social club that gives something back to its members .
Vee Views is continuing to be a great success due to the contributions we receive so please keep them coming... if you would like to contribute any articles (maybe of your experience of Vee during the season) or have any ideas please contact John Townsend or any of the committee.
Looking forward to seeing you at a race track soon! |

Germany are celebrating the 45th anniversary of vee this year, as such they are running two weekends of celbrations in October at both the Nurburgring and at Hockenheimring. Details available here From the organisers: "I would like to invite you for our anniversary at the Nürburgring 7th – 9th October: 45 years formula vee in Germany and 40 years formula super vee.
Can you also inform the other formula vee-people in GB please. We will have 2 trainings, 2 regularity runs for our championship and in addition an anniversary-run.
I hope, that we also can manage to arrange one or two laps on the Nordschleife.
We will have this together with Joachim Lutz and the people from Formula V Germany Rennsportclub 77, who will arrange the second part of the anniversary a week later at Hockenheim." Discussion thread here
