The Vee Festival will be shown on a dedicated programme on Motors TV at 7:05pm Friday 27th November 2009.  There will be repeats of the programme on Motors TV for the week after or so, make sure you don't miss it!

Date for the 2009 SCS Vee Festival is October 24th & 25th

The Vee Festival came about by the hard work of longtime Vee supporter/driver and commentator Ben Evans, the outcome was a series of races run in a festival format at Brands Hatch in October as a non championship event with the focus on giving something back to the drivers who have supported Formula Vee throughout the season and previous years. The inaugral event took place in 2008 with great succes and widespread aclaim by drivers, spectators and press.

Due to the event being about giving something back, it was felt that a charity event concept would fit in well with the goals of the weekend's racing. To achive this a partnership with Strategic Communications Services (SCS) was secured so that the Charities could gain more awareness with motorsport fans and the general public. The chosen charities for 2009 are childrens charity Make a Wish Foundation and African aid charity Riders for Health.

Building on the success of 2008’s inaugural event, 2009 looks again to have attracted over 40 cars, including several challengers from across the Irish sea. Last year’s winner and 2009 750MC Formula Vee Champion Sam Oliveira is also returning to defend his crown...

Entry Form is HERE

The event will expand and provide all who compete with a great weekend's racing, a friendly paddock with a truly internaltional flavour. The Vee Festival is going from strength to strength, despite the trying economic circumstances we have once more had overwhelming competitor support as this really is their event. The Festival is also delighted that SCS have decided to continue their association with the event particularly with their innovative approach event sponsorship and the addition of TV coverage to the package will work to raise the profiles the charities and the formula.

Look forward to seeing you there :-)
