The 2020 750MC Heritage Parts Formula Vee Championship has finally got underway.
Welcome to the grid to all newcomers. It has been a long wait since Oulton Park but the first event has not disappointed.
Two amazing drives from regular driver James Harridge saw him take two victories. James managed by the end of lap one in Race 2 to move up to 6th position from starting in 17th. A noteworthy mention must be given to Ian Buxton who made him work for these race victories. Daniel Hands has changed cars for this season and in his New AHS Dominator looked extremely quick but the results sadly didn’t come his way. Peter Studer earned a great 3rd position in Race 2 and looks to be one to watch this season. Further back down the grid there were impressive drives from the drivers and especially the battle for 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th positions in Race 1.
With James winning the Class B races as well, there were highly praiseworthy performances from two newish drivers to the formula. Elliot Mason finishing 3rd & 2nd with performances he should be proud of and a drive by Richard Walsh in Race 2 giving him a fantastic 3rd place.
